Membership in CoPIN is an opportunity to join a prestigious community of scholars dedicated to advancing Nigeria’s education sector. We welcome:
- Tenured and Retired Professors in Universities and Research Institutes
- Associate Professors/Readers and their equivalents in Research Institutes
- Senior Lecturers and their equivalents whose academic publications have already been internally assessed and accepted for promotion to the next rank.

BOARD OF TRUSTEES
CoP shall have Board of Trustees and Honorary Board of Trustees.
Members of the Board of Trustees shall be Founding Members of the CoP and those to be elected in future by AGM.
The Honorary Board of Trustees of CoP shall be all willing Professor Emeriti and Distinguished Professors of Nigerian descent; Professors who are or have been President(s) and Vice President(s) of the Federal Republic of Nigeria; Professors who are or have been Governors of States in Nigeria; Professors who are or have been Members of National and State Legislative Assemblies; Professors who are or have been Commissioners in Constituent States in Nigeria; Professors who are or have been Nigerian Ambassadors to foreign nations or International Organizations; Professors who are or have been Chief Executive Officers (CEO) of Governments’ Departments and Agencies at the Federal and State levels in Nigeria and Professors of Nigerian descent in the Diaspora.
In all, the maximum number of members of Honorary Board of Trustees shall be three per State in Nigeria.
